William “Billy” Rapp ’83 - Billy Rapp was a three-year letterman in baseball for the Tigers, playing for Holy Cross Hall of Fame coach, Lou Carboni. He was named All-State in 1982 and 1983.  Rapp was a three-time All-Metro and All-District selection between 1981-83, and was named the Catholic League MVP in 1982. He was the Catholic League batting champ in 1981 with a .435 batting average. He also led the Tigers with a 15-6 record on the mound over his final two years. The Tigers won the triple crown of titles, taking home the Catholic League, Legion & Metro championships in 1982. His tenure in the blue and gold was noticed as he was named to the 1980’s All-Decade team by the Times-Picayune.  Rapp went on to play outfield and second base for the Tulane Green Wave.
