Karl Scheuermann Jr. ’77 – Karl Scheuermann was a three-year letterman in baseball and a two-year letterman in football.  He was named All-District in football (1975 and 1976) and baseball (1976).  Additionally, he was a member of the American Legion State championship baseball team in 1977 and
 was selected to the Clarion Herald High School All-Decade team of the 1970s.  To match his accomplishments on the field, he was the Valedictorian of the Class of 1977.  He went on to play baseball at Tulane, starting three years in the outfield and batting .333.
