Coleman Ruiz Jr., was a four-year letterman in wrestling and was a football letterman.  He was named All-State and All-District in wrestling 3 times (1991, 1992, and 1993).  Ruiz was a two-time state wrestling champion and was undefeated as a junior and senior.  In 1993, he received the Butch Duhe Award.  Ruiz went on to become a Captain of the U.S. Naval Academy Wrestling team and was a U.S. Navy Seal for 13 years.
