Kenny Hrapmann was a four-year letterman in baseball, and three-year letterman in football, basketball and track. He was named All-State in 1967 and All-District in 1966 & 1967 in football. The football team was the state runner-up in 1967. As a baseball player, Hrapmann was a four-year starter and was named All-District in 1968. In addition, he was named the Outstanding Amateur Athlete for Greater New Orleans in 1967 and named Outstanding track athlete in 1968 and football player in 1967.  Hrapmann scored the most points in the state in 1967, tallying 148 points on the season. He set a school record in 1966 with 11 interceptions in 1966, and never lost to a Catholic League team in his years playing football. In his years in the Tiger football program, the teams only lost four games in his entire high school career. Upon graduation from Holy Cross, he was offered college scholarships in all four sports he participated in. He chose to play football at Northwestern State, playing four years for the Demons. In 1989, he was named to the Northwestern State “N” Club Hall of Fame.
