Roland Hymel was a Tiger letterman in football, basketball and track. He was named All-State in 1948 and All-District in 1948 and 1949 in football. In track, he earned All-State and All-District honors in the pole vault as a junior and senior. In basketball, Hymel helped the Tigers to a state finals finish.
