Vic Eumont is one of the most accomplished athletes in the rich history of Holy Cross Tiger athletics. A three-sport athlete, Eumont was All-State for multiple years in wrestling and selected All-State in his senior year in football. He lettered in football and wrestling four years, and was selected co-captain of the 1964 State Champion Wrestling Team and won the heavyweight crown. In football, he played guard and linebacker, and was chosen as tri-captain in his senior season. Eumont helped lead the Tigers to a 12-0-1 record and the 1963 State Football Championship. The 1963 team, along with the 1945 team are the only football state championships won by Holy Cross. He played collegiately at Tulane before entering the U.S Army. His college coaching career included stints at Tulane, Kansas, New Mexico, and UL-Lafayette. His stops on the high school level took him to Brother Martin, De La Salle, and head coaching positions at Holy Cross, Jesuit, and Harvard-Westlake in California.
