The Holy Cross track and field program's 4x100-meter relay team defended their title and broke the District 9-5A record at Tad Gormley Stadium Thursday evening. Ke'Rynn Smith, Koby Young, Joshua Brown, and Krosse Johnson ran a time of 41.39 to take down the 22-year-old record previously set by St. Augustine in 2001.
HC finished the team competition in fifth place with 60 points. The Tigers improved their District 9-5A team finish by one spot from a year ago and added 18 points.
