MARRERO - The Holy Cross baseball team made quick work of the Archbishop Shaw Eagles on Thursday night at Winterscheidt Stadium. The Tigers scored eight runs in the fourth to take control of the game early.
Holy Cross Tigers batters contributing to the big fourth inning included Forstall, Bradley, Planchard, Ponce, Saltaformaggio, and Andrade, all driving in runs.
Bradley earned the win for Holy Cross Tigers. The pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out four and walking one. Gegenheimer threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Holy Cross tallied nine hits. Andrade and Forstall each managed multiple hits for the Tigers. Forstall and Andrade each collected two hits to lead HC.
