METAIRIE - The Holy Cross football (1-4) team fell 37-3 to the John Curtis Patriots (4-2) on Friday night at Joe Yenni Stadium.
The Tigers lost receiver
Jalen Johnson early in the first quarter due to a shoulder injury. Johnson entered the Patriots game with seven touchdowns and 33 receptions for 584 yards. Holy Cross was also missing running back
Jaden Handy, who currently leads the team in rushing with six touchdowns and 48 carries for 261 yards. Senior
Amiri Franklin took over for Handy at the running back position in tonight's contest. Tigers Kicker Ethan Carney scored a field goal in the fourth quarter.
