LINEBACKERS COACH & SPECIAL TEAMS COORDINATOR
Nathan Farber enters his third season at Holy Cross as the Linebackers Coach, Special Teams Coordinator, and General Manager. Farber has coached linebackers, safeties, and coordinated special teams for the Tigers; Farber’s special teams units earned Kobe Young the only unanimous all district honors at kick returner averaging 31.3 yards per return of 2021. Farber also serves as an Assistant Coach for the Varsity Soccer Team at Holy Cross. Prior to Holy Cross, Coach Farber spent time at Northwestern State University assisting with the Demon linebacking corps and special teams’ units. Farber has had the privilege to coach with 1 All-American player and 3 All-Southland Conference Players on defense and 1 All-American and 2 All-Southland Conference specialists during the 2021 Spring Season. In addition to his coaching roles, Coach Farber also served as the interim Director of Operations for the 2021 season. Farber interned in LSU football operations under Sam Nader in 2016. Farber’s other football experience includes serving as a defensive coordinator for Dunham Middle School in Baton Rouge for two seasons. He coached a 13-14 all-star baseball team with Marucci baseball after assisting in the Crescent City Cranes baseball league. Farber spent the 2016-17 season serving in an events management position at LSU, helping with guest relations and facilities duties. He graduated from LSU with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration with a concentration in Leadership in 2016. He later earned a Master of Science in health and human performance from Northwestern State University in 2020. Farber is a graduate of St. Martin's Episcopal School in Metairie, class of 2012.
