Entering his 9th year of Varsity coaching, Coach Johnson joins the staff to handle the duties of coaching the Defensive Line. He joined the Tiger's Community after working at Northshore High School (Slidell,LA.) from '21-22. His coaching career started at his alma mater, Jesuit High school from 2015-2018 as the Assistant DLine Coach and office manager. Entering the 2019 campaign he made the move to Archbishop Rummel from 2019-2020 as the Defensive Line Coach and was part of the Track and Field Varsity Staff. While at Rummel he helped the program secure the 2019 Undefeated Catholic League Title and the Division 1 2019 State Championship. After graduating in 2013, he attended The University of Southern Mississippi where he worked with the football program as an equipment manager '13 and interned as a student-coach in '14, primarily with the Defensive Line and with Coach Derrick LeBlanc. Coach Johnson resides in the New Orleans Mid-City Neighborhood with his loving parents (Earl Jr and Demetria) and younger brother (Terrance).
