Chat with Coach Blake Baldassaro
We have had a historic year for Holy Cross XC. With three runners under 16:00 and five under 17:00, this team is the fastest since the turn of the century. The guys can feel it in the air: they have the opportunity to cement themselves as the best team in HC history.
Our squad is first and foremost senior heavy. These 6 team veterans, with their support and expertise, have been instrumental in shepherding in the class of freshmen.
Gage Baldassaro, senior captain, is looking to lead the squad with an individual title. He is currently ranked 1st and is in prime condition to capitalize on his fitness.
This team deserves to hoist the state championship trophy over their heads and wear the gaudy rings on their fingers. We just need to execute on meet day.
