Holy Cross Defeats Belle Chasse In Jamboree, 21-7

CHALMETTE - The Holy Cross School football team defeated the Belle Chasse Cardinals 21-7 Friday evening at Bobby Nuss Stadium.

  • The Tigers opened up the scoring on the opening kickoff thanks to Braden Cookmeyer's kickoff return for a touchdown. 
  • Cole Canatella completed a 11-yard touchdown pass to Koby Young to push the HC's lead to three. 
  • Cooper Couvillion recovered a fumble with 7:35 to go in the first half. 
  • Claude Johnson punched in the five yard run to put Holy Cross up 21-0
  • Belle Chaase returned a interception for a touchdown to score their only touchdown of the evening.
