HAMMOND - The Holy Cross Cheerleading team earned three bids to the 2022 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship (NHSCC). 

On Sunday, Dec 5, the cheerleaders competed at Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Magnolia Championship in Jackson, MS. The team placed 2nd in Medium Coed Game Day, 2nd in Small Coed Performance, and 7th in Large All-Girl Game Day. More importantly, 2 of the performances earned an invitation to the National High School Cheerleading Championship.  

Last Sunday, Dec 12, the cheerleaders competed at UCA's Louisiana Regional in Hammond, LA. The team placed 4th in Medium Coed Game Day, 1st in Small Coed Performance, and 2nd in Large All-Girl Game Day. Additionally, all three performances qualified for invitations to the National High School Cheerleading Championships in February at ESPN's Wide World of Sports.
