Rivalry 101

Hammond, LA- The Holy Cross Football (1-1) team fell to the Jesuit Blue Jays (2-1), 28-20, Saturday afternoon at Strawberry Stadium, on Southeastern's campus. 
Due to COVID-19, there was a lot of uncertainty whether the 101st meeting between the two rivals would happen on Saturday. 

NOTABLES
  • Barryn Sorrell was named Rivalry Scholar-Athlete and Kolbe Cage was awarded the Community Service award. 
  • John Wooton finished with three touchdowns
  • Cole Trosclair caught his first touchdown of the season
  • Jaden Handy executed a two-point conversion 
  • Jalen Johnson secured two touchdowns for the Tigers
  • The Holy Cross defense forced one fumble
